Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the SCALE Steward website (scalesteward.com) and the CS Advisors platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Scale Consulting Group, LLC ("SCALE Steward," "we," "us," or "our").

Services Description

SCALE Steward provides family wealth facilitation methodology, advisor certification programs (SSCA), an advisor platform, and related educational content and services. Our services are designed for financial advisors, wealth managers, family office professionals, and families seeking structured facilitation.

User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Intellectual Property

All content, materials, methodologies, frameworks, and tools available through our website and services --- including but not limited to the SCALE methodology, the SCALE Steward name and logo, SSCA certification materials, the Family Decision Impact Map, the Decision Authority Companion, and all associated documentation --- are the proprietary intellectual property of Scale Consulting Group, LLC, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

SCALE Steward™ and Young Stewards™ are trademarks of Scale Consulting Group, LLC. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

SSCA-certified advisors receive a limited, non-transferable license to use certain materials in their advisory practice, subject to the terms of their certification agreement.

Certification Program

  • SSCA certification is subject to application approval and completion of required training
  • Certification fees are non-refundable once training has commenced
  • Certified advisors must maintain continuing education requirements to retain their designation
  • We reserve the right to revoke certification for violations of our code of conduct or these Terms
  • Certification does not constitute an employment, partnership, or agency relationship

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our proprietary materials without authorization
  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Misrepresent your certification status or affiliation with SCALE Steward
  • Use our platform to compete directly with our services

Disclaimer

SCALE Steward provides facilitation methodology and educational services. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, legal advice, tax advice, or therapy. Our methodology and tools are designed to facilitate family conversations and are not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or therapeutic services.

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from using our methodology or completing our certification program.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scale Consulting Group, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
